Proposed Fisheries Development at Crana River, Buncrana, Co. Donegal
The works will include the construction of concrete footpaths for disabled anglers along the river with railings, timber stiles at various locations along the river, fencing, hardcore laybys along public road, removal of existing floating pontoons and provision and instalation of new floating fingers for 4No. angling boats. The new floating fingers will include steel piles for the stabilisation of same, river bank stabilisation at various locations using "willow" trees, provision of metal pedestrian gates and all associated site clearance works.
