ESB Generation & Wholesale Markets (Generation) is a business unit of Electricity Supply Board, the state owned electricity utility in Republic of Ireland. Generation has a requirement for the provision of Statutory Inspection Services to its generating stations (see www.esb.ie for Power Stations). This portfolio of stations may also include its generating station at Pigeon House Road, Ringsend, Dublin 4, owned and operated by ESBs subsidiary companies Synergen Power Ltd. and Utility O&M Services Ltd. respectively. ESB invites expressions of interest from suitably qualified candidates interested in being considered for the following scope of work:
Thorough examination by a competent person of the following items of equipment:
1. Boilers, steam receivers and steam containers (e.g. blowdown tanks, deaerators, drain tanks, heaters).
2. Compressed air receivers (e.g. instrument air receivers, firefighting air/water pressure tanks, accumulators).
3. All other pressure vessels not excepted from Part 10 of SI No. 445 of 2012 as listed in Schedule 12 therein
at the required statutory intervals, in accordance with Irish Legislation currently in force including the Safety, Health and Welfare at Work Regulations 2012 (S.I. No 445 of 2012) and Safety, Health and Welfare at Work Act 2005 (commencement) Order 2012 (S.I. No. 446 of 2012) in ESB Power Generating plants in Ireland.
ESB will use the negotiated procedure. Parties interested in being considered for this project must respond to the information requested and criteria and rules outlined in Sections III.2.1), III.2.2) and III.2.3) of this Call for Competition.
