DIT has already made and will continue to make significant investment in ICT infrastructure to support the academic and business needs of the Institute. In order to protect this investment and to maintain a high level of service availability for staff and students, DIT is seeking a Contractor (or Contractors) to provide remote monitoring, call out and preventative maintenance services for some of its key infrastructure that is used to support the delivery of ICT services. For the avoidance of doubt this procurement process is divided into two Lots, Lot 1 โ€“ Remote Monitoring, Lot 2 โ€“ Call Out/Support and Preventative Maintenance Service.

Alarm notification will be provided to the Contractor via email form DIT's Nagios IT infrastructure monitoring platform. The Contractor will be required to monitor 12 locations for which two alarms (temperature and humidity) will need to be monitored for eachโ€ฆ

The Contractor will be required to respond to Call Out requests from either DIT or the Lot 1 Contractor. As part of the Call Out/Support Service, the Lot 2 Contractor will be required to conduct fault finding activities and take any necessary action so as to mitigate the risk of damage to DIT's ICT infrastructure located within the Aungier St Dataโ€ฆ
