Intelligent Transportation System (ITS) Equipment Maintenance Contract

It is currently anticipated that the ITS Equipment Maintenance Contract will involve the Maintenance (both preventative and reactive), Inspection, Reporting, Inventory, Fixing of Defects and Schedule Works of Intelligent Transportation System (ITS) Equipment as well as ancillary works relating to the maintenance and the provision of replacement ITS equipment on designated national routes.
The Contractor's responsibilities in compliance with all requirements and provisions of the Contract shall include but not be limited to:
- A Mobilisation Period including activities to prepare to provide the Maintenance Services of Specified Equipment;
- Planned Maintenance to reduce the occurrence of Faults during the Contract Period;
- Provision and Installation of ITS equipment as specified by the Authority;
- Fault Correction and Management during the Contract Period;
- General Works when requested as specified and approved by the Authority;
- Storage and maintenance of an inventory of Authority owned Spares;
- Provision of an Asset Management System;
- Provision of a Fault Tracking System;
- Provision of a Management Reporting System;
- Completion of Handover tasks; and
- Ancillary works in relation to the above.

The Authority reserves the right to extend the duration of the contract from the initial 60 month period by two separate periods, each of up to 12 months.
