The Health Behaviours in School-Aged Children survey 2014 involves collecting comparable data in collaboration with the World Health Organisation (WHO) for 11, 13 and 15 year olds using an internationally agreed protocol. It requires each country to provide data from a nationally representative sample consisting of 1,500 children from each age group (total of 4,500). In addition to data on 11, 13 and 15 year olds, as with previous years, HBSC Ireland 2014 should collect data on children ranging from age 9 to 18 years old.
