Establishment of an Architect led design team for the shell and core refurbishment of the Brewhouse Building, St.Francis Abbey Brewery, Kilkenny
Kilkenny County Council is to appoint an architect led design team and is now inviting expressions of interest from applicants that wish to be considered for the tender stage.
To register their interest , applicants are required to complete the Suitability Assessment Questionnaire ('SAQ'). The onus rests with the applicant to provide all details relevant to the services required. All applicants must provide the information required under the relevant headings, in the spaces provided, and in the format requested. Unless otherwise stated, attachments to this questionnaire are not permitted and will not be considered for the purposes of assessment.
The architect-led design team to be appointed on foot of the second (tender) stage of the competition will be responsible for the design and implementation of development and expansion works as required by Kilkenny County Council. The Design Team must include the following disciplines/services:
1. Architectural Services
2. Quantity Surveying Services
3. Buildings Services Engineers
4. Civil and Structural Engineering Services
5. PSDP Services.
Note: Only those Applicants capable of delivering all of the services listed above (whether in-house or as a grouping/consortium) will be considered. Partial applications or applications from individual disciplines cannot be accepted.
Description of Project:
The shell and core refurbishmsnt of an existing three storey concrete framed structure with some steel framed infill elements, of approx 5 000 sq.m. (Ground Floor Area) to facilitate its later conversion to an Office or 3rd level Educational facility.
