The GDA is seeking to appoint a design & build contractor with an integrated multidisciplinary contractor design team who will design and construct a new build Research Hub incorporating the Environmental Health Sciences Institution (EHSI) and Hot House Incubation Unit (HHI) within a 5 storey development circa 4 500 mยฒ.
The Grangegorman Site is a brownfield site of 28.7 Hectares that is in a process of change from institutional use as the former St Brendan's Hospital to a new urban quarter comprising of an academic and healthcare campus. The site is adjacent to existing residential and healthcare uses.

The Grangegorman Development Agency (GDA) wishes to deliver โ€œcommunity benefitโ€ outcomes from its procurement activity with a view to ensuring that wider social issues are taken into account when spending public money. The intention is to achieve the very best value for money in the widest sense. The GDA has accordingly adopted the Grangegorman Employment Charter (Charter) which contains contract performance conditions related to social considerations. The successful tenderer will be required to implement the Charter as a condition of the contract. The obligations under the Charter apply only in respect of the performance of the Works and the contract. The Charter is available to download with the other tender documents.
