Dublin City Council, invites Expression of Interest from suitably qualified contractors for sewer relining and rehabilitation contracts in Dublin City.
The framework will be divided into two separate lots as follows:
(i) Lot 1 โ€“ Relining and rehabilitation of Man-Entry Sewers and Culverts;
(ii) Lot 2 โ€“ Relining and rehabilitation of Non-Man Entry Sewers and Culverts.
Each contractor may if he wishes bid for one or both lots 'Man Entry' shall be defined as work inside sewers and pipes of 900 mm diameter and above, or non circular sewers and pipes larger than 900mm x 600 mm.
'Non Man-Entry' shall be defined as work inside sewers and pipes of less than 900 mm diameter, or non circular sewers and pipes smaller than 900 mm x 600 mm.
Works may be carried out on pipes, sewers and culverts varying in shape (circular, egg, arched, oval, rectangular etc) and ranging in size from 50 mm (minimum diameter) to 2 500 mm (maximum vertical dimension) and up to 6 m deep. Pipe, sewer and culvert construction material may include brick, concrete, vitrified clay, asbestos cement, polyvinyl chloride and masonry in random and regular course.
