Coras Iompair ร‰ireann is the publicly owned transport company of Ireland. Its role is to provide both rail and bus transport services within the State of Ireland. Coras Iompair ร‰ireann has three subsidiary companies; - Irish Rail - Bus Eireann - Bus Atha Cliath (Dublin Bus) All of these companies have a requirement for Cash Collection Services. The purpose of this advertisement is to notify the market of this requirement and invite interested parties to complete the attached pre qualification document so as to be considered for inclusion in the tender process. At Invitation to tender stage CIE will be inviting qualified companies to provide a comprehensive cash management solution to all CIE companies, combining the movement of cash between the Companys stations, its car parks, payroll offices and bank branches. The requirements may be addressed through the execution of one or a number of contracts depending on the proposals received.
Description of Services Required The core requirements of this contract may be categorised as follows: - Station to Bank Transfer: Cash Takings; - Station to Station Transfer: Cash Takings; - Station to Bank Transfer: Wages Cheque; - Automatic rail and car park ticket vending machine collections - Bagging of Wages - Bus Eireann: bus depot to bank - Dublin Bus: bus depot to bank Details on each of these core and additional requirements will be provided at invitation to tender stage. Tenders may be awarded to one or more companies depending on submissions.
Requirements will be divided into Lots as follows: Lot 1 All requirements, Lot 2 Irish Rail Requirements, Lot 3 Bus ร‰ireann Requirements, Lot 4 Dublin Bus Requirements. This notice replaces OEUE 2013/S 060-100636 and e-tenders 73433.
Contract Duration will be 3 years with an option to extend for 2 additional periods of 1 year (at the sole discretion of the contracting authority)
