Contract for the supply, installation, maintenance and ongoing operation of public bicycle share schemes in Regional Cities
The National Transport Authority acting on behalf of the Department of Transport, Tourism and Sport and in collaboration with the relevant local authorities, proposes to introduce public bicycle share schemes in a number of regional cities being Cork, Galway and Limerick.
The Authority is now seeking appropriately qualified and suitable candidates to participate in a tender competition for the award of a contract to supply, install, operate and maintain Public Bike Share Schemes in the Regional Cities. in addition, the scope of the contract may be extended to include
(i) additional areas within any one or more of the Regional Cities ; and/or
(ii) additional public bicycle share schemes in other cities, towns or other areas within the State.
The Authority also reserves the right, in accordance with Regulations 32(1)(e) and 32(5)(f) of the European Communities (Award of Public Authorities' Contracts) Regulations 2006, to award new works and/or services to the successful tenderer in this competition.
