Iarnrรณd ร‰ireann wish to enter into a contract with a proven company experienced in the development and implementation of systems for active monitoring of remote infrastructure assets which will provide timely and effective warning, at a central monitoring centre, if the assets are becoming compromised within specified parameters.
The system(s) must have alert modes which will indicate failure not just of the monitored assets but of the monitors themselves and of the reporting/management system.
The asset categories under consideration include temperature monitoring, bridge strike monitoring, cutting and embankment slips, wind and flood monitoring and structural failure.
