Luas Cross City will represent the next addition to Dublin's Luas light railway system. Running from the Luas Green Line terminus at St. Stephen's Green through the city centre, Phibsborough and Cabra to Broombridge. The new line will link the Luas Red and Green Lines and will also serve the
planned new DIT Campus facility at Grangegorman. It will provide interchange with suburban railway services at Broombridge and with city bus services at numerous locations throughout the city centre. RPA is seeking to procure the supply, installation and commissioning of a Tram Wash-Plant(s).

It is RPA's intention to enter into two agreements with a sole wash-plant provider.Contract 1 - Luas Cross City wash-plant:The first agreement will be for the supply, installation and commissioning of a tram wash-plant to be housed at the proposed Luas Cross City depot at Broombridge (the design and construction of which is currently being procured under ("BXD_400_Infrastructure Works").Contract 2 - Replacement of Existing Wash-plant(s):This contract will be signed at the same time as the signing of Contract 1 and will allow RPA to exercise a drawdown to replace either or both (potentially at differing times) of the existing wash-plants at RPA existing Luas depots based at Sandyford and Red Cow. This may also involve the removal of the existing wash-plant(s). If RPA decide to replace either or both wash-plants they will do so within 10 years of signing the agreement.RPA shall novate Contract 1 to the Luas Cross City BXD_400_Infrastructure Works Contractor. Contract 2 will not be novated.
