In operating its television and radio services RTÉ has a requirement for satellite space segment capacity for contributions, mainly though not exclusively to its news, current affairs and sport programming. These contributions may be uplinked using RTÉ's own fleet of SNG vehicles, or linked with facilities provided by SNG service contractors.
Downlinking primarily at its premises in Donnybrook, Dublin, and other locations on the island of Ireland.
Material originates primarily within Ireland but also from other, mainly European locations.
