13/075 – Supply of Water Treatment Chemicals
The expected scope is the supply and delivery of water treatment chemicals to the required specification, delivery form and quantity to various locations throughout the State. This will include all water treatment chemicals required in connection with:
— the abstraction, treatment and distribution of drinking water, and;
— the collection and treatment of waste water and sludge disposal.
Applicants are not required to be able to supply all chemicals listed above; BGE may purchase individual chemicals or groups of chemicals from different Applicants.
The chemical supplies may include but not be limited to the following:
— Aluminium Sulphate,
— Ferric Aluminium Sulphate,
— High Acid Aluminium Sulphate,
— Poly Aluminium Chloride,
— Ferric Sulphate,
— Sulphuric Acid,
— Hydrated Lime,
— Quick Lime,
— Chlorine,
— Polyelectrolytes,
— Potassium Permanganate,
— Sodium Carbonate (Soda Ash),
— Sodium Hypochlorite,
— Hydrochloric Acid,
— Sodium Chloride,
— Ferric chloride,
— Caustic Soda,
— Chemicals for Septicity/Odour Control,
— Hydrofluorosilicic Acid,
— Filter Media,
— Chloramine,
— Phosphoric Acid,
— Methanol,
— Miscellaneous Water Treatment Chemicals (other than those listed above).
