He Irish Defence Forces currently employ HP servers across its WAN. The operating system utilised on these servers being MS Windows 2003R2/2008R2. The servers are in use throughout Ireland, on Naval Service vessels and overseas missions. The aim of this tender competition is to procure a range of UPS products that maximises hardware uptime, protects server hardware and data by the intelligent supply of reliable, stabilised voltage output without mains disturbances and surges.
The range of UPS offered should be sufficient to fulfil the DF’s requirements for the next four years covering servers, PC’s, mobile and static communication centres.
