The Contracting Authority proposes awarding a contract for the supply for steel wheel rims for use on Bus Eireann's vehicles for a period of 3 years. The Contracting Authority reserves the right to extend this contract(s) for a further period of 12 or 24 months. The purpose of the Pre-Qualification Questionnaire is to obtain sufficient information to enable the Contracting Authority to evaluate the suitability of applicants with the necessary resources and capacity to achieve the contract objectives. This will be a negotiated procedure.

In order to be considered for participation in a tendering competition for this contract, suitable qualified interested parties must complete and submit the pre-qualification questionnaire provided. Following receipt of tenders, Bus Eireann may negotiate as necessary with one or more tenderers and will award the contract to the most economically advantageous offer received. If a request to participate is submitted by a group of suppliers, then those suppliers, if awarded the contract shall assume such legal form by incorporation, partnership, or otherwise so as to enable them to contract as a single entity. It will be necessary for the satisfactory performance of the contract for the group to state a single addressee responsible for the receipt and processing of the participating orders and resolving any problems relating to the contract.
