Supply of DC Standby Chargers & Battery Systems & Services
Supply of direct current DC battery charger systems, associated hardware, including but not limited to, cabinets, fans, electronic indicators and interconnecting cables. The supply of associated storage comprising individual cells arranged to form a battery in a suitable cabinet or rack. Services for inspection, testing, surveying of existing arrangements and commissioning of new DC standby systems, as installed by others. Candidates should note that a contract will be awarded with respect to the requirements described in this PQQ for Bord Gáis Networks only. Bord Gáis Éireann reserves the right at any time and from time to time, at its absolute discretion, to transfer all or any part of the contract to a third party (which may be an associated company of Bord Gáis Éireann (for example, a networks subsidiary of Bord Gáis Éireann) or otherwise). Without prejudice to the generality of the foregoing, Bord Gáis Éireann may exercise this right because it is required, or it considers it appropriate, to do so having regard to any arrangements implementing the unbundling requirements of the Third Gas Directive (Directive 2009/73/EC) in Ireland. It is expected that such implementation will be effected on or following 3.3.2012 and a transfer of the contract by Bord Gáis Éireann to a third party may occur at that time.
