Single-operator framework agreement for legal services

National Museum of Ireland (NMI) and National Library of Ireland (NLI) propose to collaborate to engage in a competitive process for the establishment of a single-operator framework agreement for legal services. As public bodies, NMI and NLI are collaborating in the setting up of a framework in order to maximise efficiency, effectiveness and value for money.
Legal services under this framework may include:
โ€” Employment Law,
โ€” Copyright Law and intellectual property rights,
โ€” Freedom of Information Law,
โ€” Contract Law including where an international dimension exists (contracts, concessions and licences),
โ€” Procurement Law,
โ€” Corporate Governance guidelines - role of the Board, Director and staff,
โ€” Tort,
โ€” European and Competition Law,
โ€” Public Law & Administrative Law โ€“ including data protection,
โ€” Constitutional Law โ€“ as it may relate to heritage protection,
โ€” Environmental Planning Law,
โ€” Property Law,
โ€” Heritage Legislation โ€“ EU Directives relating to Cultural Heritage, the National Monuments Act and the Cultural Institutions Act,
โ€” Dispute Resolution, Legal Representation and any other legal issue that may arise from time to time.
