Lot 1. Cleaning Chemicals and Materials
Applicants are invited to complete this Pre-qualification Questionnaire as the first stage in selecting candidates for inclusion on a tender list to supply Cleaning Chemicals/Matierials to Iarnród Éireann.
The proposed contract involves the Supply of said Cleaning Materials to various stations, depots and other locations throughout the Iarnród Éireann network over a three (3) year period with the option for an additional two (2) years on a 1+1 basis.
Cleaning Materials required will include, amongst others, items such as;
- Bleach
- Concrete Floor Cleaner
- Alkaline Cleaner for Rail Rolling Stock
- Acid Cleaner for Rail Rolling Stock
- Foamer
Lot 2. Paper products
Iarnród Éireann – Irish Rail (IE) requires the supply of Toilet Rolls, Paper Towels and Refuse Sacks to various locations across the company, in depots, stations and offices.The proposed contract involves the Supply of said Paper Products to various stations, depots & other locations throughout the Iarnród Éireann network over a three (3) year period with the option of an additional two (2) years on a 1+1 basis.
Lot 3. Combination of Lot 1 and 2
Note: Applicants may apply for:
- Lot 1 - Requirements only,
- Lot 2 - Requirements only,
- Lot 3 - Both Lot 1 & Lot 2 combined requirements.
A more detailed spec for both lots will be available at Invitation to Tender Stage.
CIÉ reserve the right to award contracts to one (1) or more companies.
Our intention is to award a 3 year contract with the option to extend for a further 2 years. Further details of the duration and any other conditions will be provided in our conditions of tender document at the invitation to tender stage. Once the qualification process has been completed, Applicants will be notified of their acceptance or otherwise. Thereafter the short-listed Applicants will be invited to participate in the formal tender process. It must be noted that Irish Rail shall take account of the need to ensure adequate competition in determining the number of contractors selected to tender for or to negotiate the contract.
