The HSE invites Expressions of Interest from suitably qualified tenderers who wish to participate in a competition for the provision of Support Services for an Outpatient AntiMicrobial Therapy Service for the HSE.
The required Services are Annex IIB services, and accordingly, only Articles 23 & 35 (4) of the onsolidated Public Procurement Directive 2004/18/EC for Award of public service contracts, as amended, apply to the award of any contract arising from this process.

An OPAT service comprises three distinct, interrelated delivery models/ strands:
1: Self-administered out-patient parenteral antimicrobial therapy (S-OPAT),
2: Administration by a Healthcare Professional in the patientโ€™s home (H-
OPAT).
3: Administration in a community healthcare facility or hospital clinic
All HSE Hospitals and HSE funded Hospitals are covered within the scope of this tender and are hereafter referred to as HSE.
Description of options:
The contract will be awarded for a period of two years; the HSE reserves the right to extend the contract for three additional periods of up to twelve months each, subject to annual review.
