ESB Power Generation

ESB has a requirement for the supply and delivery of various grades of turbine oils and general lubrication currently being used in all ESB generating stations, and to provide for routine testing of turbine oils and a general lubrication service during their operational life. There is also a requirement for a total lubrication management service (to include supply, testing and on site lubrication service) in a number of our generating stations.

a) It is ESB Generation intention to shortlist suitable candidates; b) ESB generation will not be responsible for costs, charges or expenses incurred by candidates, whether or not a final contract is awarded; c) This notice is to serve as the sole call for competition for this contract; d) Requests cannot be entertained beyond the date stipulated in Section IV. 3.3; e) In connection with the award of the contract, the tenderer shall be required to identify the entity that would be responsible for the receipt and processing of orders and the resolution of any and all problems relating to this contract; f) In responding to this notice, companies must indicate if they propose to submit a group bid and, if so, must provide full details of the participating companies; g) The negotiated procedure will be used, however, the contracting entity retains the option to accept initial bids without further negotiations; h) The final contract may be divided into lots. Details of these lots will be specified in the tender documents and finalised during the ensuing tender assessment process. The award of the respective lots will be at ESB Generation's sole discretion.
