Operation & Maintenance of On Track Machines
Iarnrod Eireann-Irish Rail
Iarnród Éireann - Irish Rail is looking to appoint suitable service providers to operate and maintain its On Track Machines (OTM) fleet.
Track maintenance operations are carried out on the network using Iarnród Éireann owned On Track Machines. The OTM fleet is comprised of the following elements:
1. Plain Line and P&C Tampers
2. Regulators
3. Ballast Cleaners
4. Dynamic Track Stabilizer
5. Track Recording Vehicle
6. Inspection Cars
7. Other Multi Purpose Vehicles (MPV)
The successful contractor will be required to undertake the duties equivalent to that of an Entity in Charge of Maintenance (ECM) in accordance with Directive 2004 49EC Annex 3, with respect to the maintenance of the OTM fleet.
The successful contractor will be required to obtain Safety Certification from the Railway Safety Commission in Ireland in accordance with Directive 2004 49EC.
