NUIG/BUILD/013/11; Frameworks of Architects
National University of Ireland, Galway (NUI Galway-NUIG)
The buildings office of the National University of Ireland, Galway are seeking to establish two multi supplier frameworks of competent and reputable Architects to carry out services as outlines in the documents on projects such as improvements, repairs, refurbishment and new build projects.
The top five scoring companies as a result of this tender will be put on the framework. NUIGalway are setting up 2 frameworks as follows:
Lot 1: Provision of Architectural Services – Minor Works, Value of work < 50 000 EUR plus VAT.
Lot 2: Provision of Architectural Services – Major Works, Value of work > 50 000 EUR plus VAT up to the value Capital Works Projects.
Following the creation of this Framework Agreement, NUIG will award relevant contracts, as, if and when they occur via ‘Mini Competitions’. NUIG will, as requirements arise, contact in writing the Framework Members and invite them to submit competitive bids. The bids received will then be evaluated and contracts awarded on the basis of award criteria indicated under the rules of the mini competitions to the most economically advantageous tender.
This framweork will not be used for Arcitectural Services for Capital Works Projects, capital works projects will be advertised for seperately.
