There is a requirement to run a tender competition for the upgrade or complete replacement of the existing Defence Forces microwave network.1.1.1The reason for this framework is to ensure continued connectivity for Defence Forces locations and while providing continuity of service during an upgrade or replacement of the network.It is intended that this invitation to tender will give rise to a framework contract for two calendar years with the option to renew for up to 4 years following an annual review (2 + 1 + 1). During the course of the contract, the successful tenderer will be required to supply, install, commission, and provide training for the Defence Forces private microwave estate.
