Individual Expressions of Interest are invited from suitably qualified consultant Architects, Quantity Surveyors, Building Services Engineers (M&E) and Civil/Structural Engineers who wish to be considered for the inclusion on a Design Team to oversee the design and construction of an Education Campus at Maynooth, Co. Kildare.
This appointment will entail the Master Planning of the proposed new Campus to cater for 5 Schools at both Primary & Post Primary level inclduing a stand alone Sports Hall. This appointment also includes the overseeing of the design and construction of 2 new 1 000 pupil Post Primary Schools, a new stand alone Sports Hall and associated site infrastructure for the entire Campusby September 2014.
The client for this project is County Kildare Vocational Education Committee.

The services to be provided are set out in the DoES Standard Schedule of Services for Construction Consultants Rev 2 (available at www.education.ie, under Technical Guidance). No site specific information is available at this time. Before submitting an expression of interest applicants should refer to the Suitability Assessment Questionnaire DoES-QC1 (Short) and Consultants Pre-qualification Assessment Excel Spreadsheet attached to the eTender advertisement and satisfy themselves that they meet the minimum standards required. In addition each Senior Architect and Back-up Senior Architect (as described in DoES-QC1 (Short) and Consultants Pre-qualification Assessment Excel Spreadsheet) must have previously worked as Project Architect on the Design Stages of a Post-Primary School (Stages 1 and 2a) and must specify a minimum of one of those projects in Pre-Qualification Assessment Sheet Section 3.4b Personnel for the project page and Pre-Qualification Assessment Sheet Section 3.4b Personnel for the project page 2. โ€” Not applicable to Engineers and QS. The Contracting Authority reserve the right, if it so wishes, to request any or all applicants to produce the necessary detailed evidence at pre-qualification stage prior to inclusion on the short list for the project. The successful applicant will be required to produce the necessary detailed evidence before appointment.
