HBS upgrade
Dublin Airport Authority plc (DAA)
Dublin Airport Authority currently has standard 1, standard 2 and standard 3 certified HBS (hold baggage screening) EDS (explosive detection system) x-ray equipment in service across its 4 Terminals at Cork, Dublin and Shannon Airports. Dublin Airport Authority plc intends to upgrade/replace existing Standard 1 HBS EDS X-Ray equipment with the integration and installation of standard 2 certified HBS EDS X-Ray equipment into the existing HBS Systems. Only HBS EDS X-Ray equipment which has been certified and approved by an Appropriate Authority in a relevant Member State as Standard 2 through the ECAC Common evaluation process (ECAC CEP) will be considered for this project.
