Construction of five new Water Treatment Plants in four separate Regions in County Roscommon at.
1. South Roscommon Regional Water Supply Scheme – Lisbrock and Killeglan
2. Roscommon Central Regional Water Supply Scheme– Ballinagard.
3. Boyle Ardcarne Regional Water Supply Scheme– Rockingham and
4. Arigna Regional Water Supply Scheme– Ballyfarnon
The Contractor is required to Design and Build the works, to operate and maintain the existing facilities during this 18 month design and build phase and to operate and maintain the as-built works for a period of 20 years.

Completed Submissions to be returned clearly marked "Pre-Qualification Procedure – Four Regional Water Supply Schemes – DBO Contract: Water Treatment Plants " for the attention of the Mr. Desmond O Dwyer, Senior Executive Officer, Water Services, Roscommon County Council, The Courthouse, Roscommon not later than the time stated in this notice in IV.3.4. Submissions by email or fax are not acceptable. Evidence that the Tenderer is operating the Construction Industry Federation Pension/Sick Pay Scheme and a Tax Clearance Certificate, within the specified period. In the case of a non-resident Tenderer, a statement from the Revenue Commissioners in lieu of a Tax Clearance Certificate will be required as to the suitability of the Tenderer, on tax grounds, to be awarded the Contract. Failure to produce the required documentation within a reasonable time may disqualify the Tenderer. The Employer does not bind himself to accept the lowest or any tender and will not pay any expenses or compensation whatsoever in connection therewith. Roscommon County Council is subject to the provision of the Freedom of Information Act (FOI) 1997. If a Tenderer considers that any of the information supplied with his Tender is either commercially sensitive or confidential in nature, this should be highlighted and the reasons for its sensitivity specified. The Department of the Environment Community and Local Goverment will part-fund the Project under the Water Services Investment Programme. Payment details will be made available in the Contract Documents issued to applicants selected for invitations to tender.
