Enhancement of User Worked Level Crossings
Iarnrod Eireann-Irish Rail
As part of Iarnrรณd รireannโs (Iร) ongoing investment in safety at Level Crossings and their proactive approaches and commitments to risk reduction, Iร is looking to develop upgrade solutions to its user operated level crossings.
Initially, this will be with consideration for its Occupational Crossings on private roads (โOโ type) and Occupational Crossings on public roads (โOPโ type) but with possible further applications to Field level crossings (โFโ type).
It is envisaged that this will be through the provision of technological solutions which will be developed and installed at level crossings to aid the level crossing user in his operation of the crossing in conjunction with current requirements.
