Development, design & implementation of a system for remote monitoring of Infrastructure assets
Iarnrod Eireann-Irish Rail
Iarnród Éireann wish to enter into a contract with a proven company experienced in the development, design and implementation of a system for remote monitoring which will be used to monitor infrastructure assets.
The system is required to provide automatic and immediate notification as to asset failure so as to be able to implement preventative controls in the event of this asset failure. The asset categories under consideration include bridge strike monitoring, cutting and embankment slips, wind and flood monitoring and structural failure. The remote monitors will provide collected data through to a single central source where alarms can be activated based on pre-determined thresholds for each asset category.
