Develop meaningful cross-border linkages
The project relates to strategic priority 3.1 of the Sligo Peace & Reconciliation Partnership Committee Action Plan 2011 – 2013 which is to develop integrated cross border contact and directly addressing southern dis - engagment from the Northern counties.
The Aims of the Project are:
Develop working relationship with CAN (Carrickfergus, Antrim & Newtownabbey) Peace III Partnership.
Develop a ‘partnership’ agreement based on a joint management and delivery structure.
Build on the work undertaken in phase I and support the meaningful engagement of groups/agencies from Sligo with groups/agencies in the CAN Partnership area.
Develop a strategy to take initiative forward.
The Objectives of the Project are:
Develop links between the Sligo and CAN Peace III Partnerships and between groups/agencies in the Sligo and CAN areas around areas of:
Leadership.
Cohesion & integration.
Investing in Relationships.
Create opportunities for exchange of learning and sharing models of good practice.
Create opportunities for meaningful cross-border engagement.
