Consultancy Services for Road Safety Inspections, and Road Safety Audits

National Roads Authority (NRA)

The National Roads Authority ("the contracting authority") is acting as a central purchasing body in respect of a multi party framework agreement ("the framework agreement") for the provision of multi-disciplinary consultancy services for roads related projects ("the Services") with an anticipated duration of 2 years, with a possible extension, at the sole discretion of the Contracting Authority, for a further twelve months.
The List of Public Bodies that will be entitled (but not obliged) to draw down Services from the Framework Agreement in accordance with the rules of the framework agreement are set out in section VI.3 of this contract notice.
The services required are.
Lot 1.
For the delivery of Road Safety Inspections on defined routes on the National Road Network on behalf of the National Roads Authority.
Lot 2a, 2b, and 2c.
For the delivery of Road Safety Audits on Road Schemes on the National Road Network on Behalf of the National Roads Authority and Local Authorities.

The clients, listed in section V1.3 of this contract notice, propose to procure consultancy services to carry out Road Safety Inspections on the National Roads Network. It is anticipated that between 5 and 10 call-off contracts may be awarded in the first year of the framework agreement.
