Consultancy Services for Land Agency Northern Ireland & Scotland
Bord Gáis Éireann intends to commence a competition to appoint a suitable service provider for land agency services in Northern Ireland and Scotland, for landowner pre-entry consultation & co-ordinating landowner agreements for pipelines, above ground gas installations and associated works on behalf of Bord Gáis Networks. Successful tenderers will be appointed to the Bord Gáis Networks Framework for Professional Services for a period of three (3) years, with the option to extend for a further one (1) year, subject to an annual review after the three (3) year period and at the sole discretion of Bord Gáis Networks.
The contract to be awarded under this competition is as follows;
I. Landowner pre-scheme consultation and issue package arrangements with Land owners, farming community, forestry organisations and Statutory Bodies.
II. Valuation assessment for development lands.
III. Land pre-entry consultations for gas infrastructure projects.
IV. Preparing evidence for presentation as part of appeals and/or hearings.
V. Attendance at arbitrations hearings gas infrastructure projects.
VI. Assistance with route evaluations on all types of gas infrastructure projects.
VII. Liaising with land owners and their advisors, including maintaining landowner record updates & surveys where required.
VIII. Co-ordination of Professional Services for acquisition of lands for above ground gas installations, pipelines and pipeline storage areas.
IX. Completion of planning investigations and advising on development potential of lands impacted by gas infrastructure projects.
X. Co-ordination of Specialists, Advisors and Subcontractors for landowner requirements for gas infrastructure projects. Agricultural & Agronomy Services, Agricultural Liaison officer functions.
XI. Land reinstatement and drainage resolution.
It is currently anticipated that the duration of the contract to be entered into with the successful service provider is 3 yearswith an option to further extend for a period of up to 12 months.
