The Licensee to operate two โ€œCoffee Shopsโ€ on site. Services are required for staff, patients and visitors to OLCHC; fare to include tea, coffee, soup, snacks, sandwiches, soft drinks (no alcohol, chewing gum or cigarettes). One coffee shop is located on the ground floor beside the canteen circa 80m2 and the other near the existing building adjacent to OPD with a footprint of circa 80m2.
Whilst the Hospital is placing this notice in the OJEC we are not strictly bound by the timelines due to the concession nature of the contract.

Legal, economic, financial and technical information
Conditions for participation
Economic and financial standing:
(1) All candidates will be required to provide a reference from their bank.
(2) All candidates will be required to provide evidence of relevant professional risk indemnity insurance.
(3) All candidates will be required to provide a statement, covering the 3 previous financial years including the overall turnover of the candidate and the turnover in respect of the activities which are of a similar type to the subject matter of this notice.

(4) All candidates will be required to provide statements of accounts or extracts from those accounts relating to their business.
Technical and professional ability:
(1) A statement of the candidate's average annual number of staff and managerial staff over the previous 3 years.
(2) Details of the educational and professional qualifications of their managerial staff; and those of the person(s) who would be responsible for providing the services or carrying out the work or works under the contract.
Contract execution
Deposits and guarantees required:
A returnable deposit of 25 000 EUR is required from the successful bidder in advance and will be retained by the Hospital in order to cover any consequential damages and costs that would be incurred if the licensee withdraws from, or fails to comply with the terms of the contract.

A site visit is mandatory for all parties submitting a bid. The site visit is scheduled to take place on Thursday 14th June. Further details with times will be sent to all parties who register an interest.
The purpose of this visit is to show you the site. Tender details will not be discussed.
