SmartPly Europe manufactures a range of SmartPly OSB (Oriented Strand Board) wood products for use in construction and related industries. OSB is an engineered, mat-formed panel product made of strands, flakes or wafers sliced from small diameter; round wood logs and bonded with an exterior-type binder under heat and pressure.
SmartPly have plans to modernize the SmartPly OSB facility with an investment in new equipment for biomass heat energy, wood strand drying, screening, pressing and panel finishing.
SmartPly invites expressions of interest from suitably qualified candidates for alteration works to the existing building, amounting to 1 740 square metres and new building extensions totalling approximately 8 960 square metres in order to accommodate a new Forming Line, Press Hall, Rejects Building, conveyors between existing and extended factory, board cooling, panel storage and plant rooms.
