Blood Weigher Mixers
Irish Blood Transfusion Service
The IBTS wishes to purchase new blood weigher mixers for Whole Blood Collection Clinics: Carlow, Ardee, Tuam, D’Olier Street, Mobile One, Stillorgan, Limerick, St. Finbarrs and Cork Mobile One.
The blood weigher mixer is used to ensure that the system provides appropriate proper mixing of the blood and anticoagulant during blood collection, and that the number of oscillations may be varied according to the specifications of the device.
