Ballygoran to Collinstown Watermain Scheme
This contract will provide for the construction of an 800mm diameter, approximately 5km long ductile iron pipe from Ballygoran Reservoir to Collinstown, Leixlip, Co. Kildare.
The pipeline will be predominantly laid in road including the Ballygoran to Pike Bridge local road L5003 and on part of the R148 Maynooth to Leixlip road.
The construction of the trunk main will involve crossings under the Dublin-Sligo Railway line, the Royal Canal and the M4 motorway by trenchless technology methods. The contract also includes mechanical and electrical works. The mechanical and electrical and trenchless technology works will be carried out by appropriate specialists.
