Iarnrod Eireann-Irish Rail
Iarnród Éireann have a requirement for the welding of railway steel rails in situ. The estimated volume will be 4 000-5 000 welds per year with a possibility of more. The contract involves the supply of welding consummables and moulds- for a range of rail sections eg.50Kg/54Kg and 60Kg and wide gap welds.
Alternative technologies will be considered.

Tenderers will be required to sign a Declaration of Bona Fides attesting to their suitability taking into account areas such as bankruptcy, professional misconduct, social security and taxation matters, quality assurance and health and safety matters and attesting to the accuracy of information provided, all in accordance with the criteria for exclusion referred to in Directive 98/4/EC.

The following evidence of the supplier's financial and economic standing must be provided:
Copies of supplier's balance sheets and profit and loss accounts for the 3 most recent financial years;
Certified evidence of turnover relating to the relevant contract area over the past 3 financial years.
Total submission to be limited to 50 pages A4.
A current banker's reference (no more than one month old).
Evidence of insurances held by the supplier and details of any exclusions contained therein.
`A copy of a valid tax clearance certificate form the Irish Revenue commissioners, if available, or a copy of clearance for tax purposes from the country of incorporation of the supplier.
