ADR and Related Services
The Health & Safety Authority seeks applications from suitably competent firms to participate in a competitive dialogue procedure. The contract is as follows: In accordance with Regulation 10(3) of S.I.349 of 2011, the Authority wishes to appoint a suitable organisation to the framework to administer and manage the following, as the initial contract under the framework. This contract is in 3 separate elements as follows:
(i) Under the ADR Driver Examination Scheme; develop and maintain an exam question bank, set and mark examinations and award vocational driver training certificates qualifying candidates as drivers of vehicles carrying dangerous goods.
(ii) Regarding the Safety Adviser for Road [DGSA] Examination Scheme; develop and maintain an exam question bank, set and mark examinations and award vocational training certificates qualifying candidates as Safety Advisers for the carriage of dangerous goods by road.
(iii) Approval of training courses and appointment of training providers for the training of drivers of dangerous goods vehicles. This latter service includes maintenance and development of the driver training syllabus and standards for training providers, initial and annual re-assessments of course materials and training providers.
