Suitability to pursue the professional activity:
(1) All candidates will be required to produce a certificate or declaration demonstrating that they have fulfilled obligations relating to the payment of taxes under the law or of the relevant State in which the economic operator is established.
Economic and financial standing:
(1) All candidates will be required to provide a statement, covering the 3 previous financial years including the overall turnover of the candidate and the turnover in respect of the activities which are of a similar type to the subject matter of this notice.

(1) Samples, descriptions and/or photographs, the authenticity of which must be certified if the contracting authority so requests
Each company entering a tender must provide Met Éireann with at least 10 samples of 600g balloons which may be tested by Met Éireann at its facility in Valentia to determine whether the quality of the balloons satisfies its requirements. These tests will be conducted in a manner which is fair and equal to all participants of the tender process. The results of these tests will form part of the marking system to determine the eventual winner of the contract.

The supplier should maintain a documented quality assurance system, meeting the demands specified in the ISO 9001 standard or its equivalent. All equipment has to comply with European and National safety standards.
Main financing conditions and payment arrangements and/or reference to the relevant provisions governing them:
Payment for supplies covered by this invitation to tender will be on foot of appropriate invoices, which will be based on agreed deliveries. Invoicing arrangements will be agreed with the successful supplier, following the award of the contract. A contract entered into on foot of this Request for Tender, is subject to the Prompt Payment of Accounts Act.
