Bus Eireann/Irish Bus

Bus Eireann is tendering for vehicle repair and maintenance services. It is the intention of the Contracting Authority to set up a number of strategically located panels in the Republic of Ireland to provide the services, on demand, for a period of three (3) years with an option to extend the duration for a further 12 or 24 months at the discretion of the Contracting Authority. Even though these panels are being set up within each BE region, there is a requirement for each panel to be drawn on by other regions, especially in the event of a vehicle breakdown.
There are 3 elements to this contract, as follows:
โ€” Lot 1: repair and maintenance services in accordance with original equipment manufacturers and/or bus Eireann specifications and standards to various fleet types. The service will also include towing and recovery services (as required). The services will be available during normal working hours and outside normal working hours. This will include A, B, and C dock inspections,
โ€” Lot 2: bodywork and associated services in accordance with original equipment manufacturers specifications to various fleet types. The services will be available during normal working hours and outside normal working hours. All paint workshops should be covered by the necessary relevant certification,
โ€” Lot 3: chassis and chassis electrical maintenance per the original equipment manufacturers specification for various fleet types during normal working hours and outside normal working hours.
Service providers can apply for one or more lots or one or more panel(s).
