Design team services associated with the design and construction of the Bernal Building, University of Limerick comprising 10,000m² of highly serviced science and engineering research laboratories, offices, teaching and seminar rooms and associated ancillary accommodation. Design team services required include Architect, Quantity Surveyor, Mechanical & Electrical Engineer, Civil & Structural Engineer, Project Manager, Landscape Architect and Project Supervisor Design Process. The services will typically include taking the brief, obtaining statutory approvals, preparation of detailed design and tender documentation, management of the tender process, administration of the works contract, cost control including agreement of final accounts and provision of handover documentation. The project will be developed in two phases the initial phase of which will comprise approximately 5,800m² of accommodation.
