The Courts Service is revising its investment arrangements, as detailed in the EU public tender for investment management services. The Courts Service is seeking a professional transition manager to restructure the existing portfolio post the selection of an investment manager(s). The Courts Service investments currently amount to approximately 1.2 billion EUR of which the majority is in cash based strategies. Currently 66 000 000 EUR is invested in index equity and bond funds and will need to be transitioned to the new arrangements (once decided).

Requests for qualification may be submitted by a single candidate or by a consortium. A consortium will not be required to convert into a specific legal form in order to submit a request for qualification but may be required to do so prior to award of the contract if the Courts Service considers it necessary to ensure that the contract is carried out to its satisfaction. The Courts Service also reserves the right to contract with each member of the consortium on the basis of joint and several liabilty, or with one member of the consortium as a main contractor with a number sub-contractors, or on any other basis the Courts Service considers appropriate.
