Tranche 2 Motorway service areas - advance works contract

National Roads Authority (NRA)

The Contracting Authority (National Roads Authority) wishes to procure a contractor to construct grade separated junctions (including a motorway overbridge) on the M6 and M9 motorways to provide access to proposed motorway service areas, which are to be constructed under a separate PPP contract. The proposed motorway service areas will be single sided facilities and will be accesible from the motorway by means of a new grade separated junction to be constructed as part of this advance works contract.
The construction elements of the Contract are currently intended to comprise (in particular, but without limitation) the construction of 2 grade separated junctions on existing live carriageways including motorway overbridge, merge and diverge slip roads and associated earthworks, drainage, fencing and public lighting, road signage and safety barrier.
