The provision of health and safety consultancy services
Ballymun Regeneration Ltd (BRL) is a company set up by Dublin City Council in 1997 to plan and implement a regeneration programme for Ballymun. This will result in a new town with new and improved facilities for the 30 000 people living there. BRL wishes to establish a single operator framework agreement for the provision of health and safety consultancy services to manage, assess, monitor and report on public safety risks associated with the works, in addition to the health, safety and welfare of BRL staff working on the various sites. The role also involves interacting with senior management and dealing with queries from members of the public, local community groups and other stakeholders. The successful tenderer will be required to work strictly in accordance with the BRL Health, Safety and Environmental Management system. The initial contract under the Framework Agreement requires the provision of the following services over a 24 month period: The services will be provided by two dedicated personnel, comprising one Senior Health and Safety Officer and one Junior Health and Safety Officer, each being suitably educated and experienced.
