The Provision of External Support to the University Sector in the Progression of Shared Services
The IUA wishes to enter into a competitive dialogue with a number of candidate suppliers to procure the external support needed to progress this goal. It is envisaged that the external support will include, but not be limited to the following tasks:
— analyse the potential for shared services in the areas of finance, HR, IT, procurement and student related activities across the seven Universities,
— analyse the potential costs/benefits of shared services in the areas of finance, HR, IT, procurement and student related activities,
— advise and make recommendations on the most appropriate and cost effective operating model(s) for shared services for the sector.
