Irish Rail require a supply of high-strength structural bolting assemblies for preloading using system HR.
All bolt assemblies must comply with BS EN 14399-1, and be supplied by one manufacturer and include bolts, nuts, washers and direct tension indicators.
Bolt assemblies MUST include the following:
โ€” System HR hexagon bolt & nut assemblies: BS EN 14399-3,
โ€” System HR hexagon bolt assemblies โ€“ plain chamfered washers: BS EN 14399-6,
โ€” System HR hexagon bolt assemblies โ€“ direct tension indicators: BS EN 14399-9.
Irish Rail would like to create an approved framework of contractors for the supply of the above items who will receive all formal tender enquiries.
A pre qualification questionnaire will have to be completed and is available for download with this notice.
