An Post National Lottery Company (The National Lottery) is licensed to operate the National Lottery by the Minister for Finance on the Ministerโs behalf in accordance with the National Lottery Act 1986, with the sole focus on raising money for good causes around Ireland. The National Lottery provide world-class, exciting and engaging lottery games such as Lotto, EuroMillions and scratch cards. Since the National Lottery was launched, over 3.6 billion euros has been raised for good causes. This level of funding has made a significant difference to communities, projects and individuals in the areas of youth, sports, recreation, amenities, health, welfare, arts, culture, national heritage and the Irish language. The National Lottery currently offers 4 lottery products for which drawing equipment is utilised. The majority of these products have associated televised draws. โ Lotto (twice weekly, televised on RTE), โ Monday million (weekly game televised on TV3), โ All or nothing (daily game, not currently televised), โ TellyBingo (3 times a week, televised on RTE). In addition, the National Lottery produces non skill based lottery TV Game Shows in which a number of games are played, utilising both mechanical as well as software driven game machinery. There are 2 TV gameshows during the course of a year โ โWinning streakโ and โBig Moneyโ which run for a total of 52 weeks in a year. Typically the games on these shows are redesigned or refreshed on an annual basis. The National Lottery wish to tender for a single supplier who can meet our requirement on an ongoing basis for both Draw Game and TV Game Show equipment, development and maintenance. The National Lottery reserves the right to extend the contract for 2 additional one year periods, following conclusion of the original contract period in the event that the Lottery Licence is renewed or extended by the Minister.
