The overall objective of this Tendering process is to identify a suitable range of Negative Wound Therapy Pumps and Consumables to satisfy the clinical needs and requirements of the hospital in line with the Hospitalโ€™s specifications as per Appendix A and the performance and functional specification as set out in section 5. Any reference to hospital in the tender document includes both AMNCH and SJH unless otherwise specifically stated. The proposal must offer value for money.

The Dublin Academic Teaching Hospitals' (DATH's) consist of The Adeladine & Meath Hospital Incorporating The National Childrens Hospital (AMNCH), St.James's Hospital, Beaumont Hospital, Mater Misercordiae University Hospital and St.Vincents University Hospital.While this contract is being awarded by AMNCH and St.James's Hospital, it should be noted that other DATH's may avail of the conditions contained therein as part of an agreement among all DATH's named as per the tender document. In such instance each hospital would be responsible for isssuing their own contract award. AMNCH and St.James's hospital reserves the option to extend the geographical and/or volume of this contract, to include other areas/institutions of the HSE, with the contractors prior consent. Suitability to pursue the professional activity:

(2) All candidates will be required to produce a certificate or declaration demonstrating that the candidate, their directors, or any other person who has powers of representation, decision or control of the candidate has not been convicted of conspiracy, corruption, bribery, or money laundering. Failure to provide such a declaration will result in the candidate being declared ineligible and they will not be selected to participate in this procurement process.
