Succeed-in-Ireland
Industrial Development Agency, Ireland ('IDA') is a Foreign Direct Investment ('FDI') organisation with the objective of winning investments in manufacturing, research development and innovation, and service activities for Ireland which result in the creation of sustainable employment on a sectoral and regional basis.
IDA now proposes extending its market reach to include more smaller enterprises under the new Succeed-in-Ireland initiative.
IDA proposes to engage in a competitive dialogue process to appoint up to three 'consultant entrepreneurs' to deliver new projects leading to sustainable employment in Ireland.
The successful tenderers will be responsible for managing the generation of leads and conducting all necessary marketing in respect of this initiative, including the initial due diligence on the viability of any proposed project and all general administration. It is emphasised that this initiative will operate on the basis of a retrospective revenue model. The amount per sustainable job payable by IDA to the successful tenderers will not exceed 4 000 EUR in all, while the successful tenderers will be solely responsible for all costs, charges and expenses incurred in the delivery of the required services.
It is envisioned that the successful tenderers may use the services of third parties at their discretion. However, IDA will have final sanction on the selection of qualifying projects and jobs.
