The Grangegorman Development Authority (GDA) is a statutory agency established in 2006 to redevelop the Grangegorman site in Dublin city centre. The challenge is to plan for and implement a complex, multi-phased development that provides: โ a high quality area with physical linkages to Smithfield, Phibsborough, Prussia Street, and the City Centre, โ new health care facilities for the Health Service Executive (HSE), โ new urban campus for Dublin Institute of Technology (DIT), โ new arts, cultural, recreational and public spaces to serve the community and the city, โ primary school, public library and childrenโs play spaces, and โ complementary mixed-use development. As a statutory agency, the GDA currently requires legal services across the range of its core and non-core functions. In this regard, the GDA is establishing a single party framework agreement, the successful member of which will assume responsibility for providing advice and guidance concerning decision making, statutory interpretation and the drafting of processes, policies and rules.
